When I had my limited company I couldn't get hold of the Accountant (based in Bolton) to confirm the account's had been filed. I was getting concerned when the Accountants wife rang me to say he'd died after returning from holiday, he was only early 50's.HMRC. I know they’re not a company but they owed me a refund and it took them 4 months to repay it. If it had been the other way round I’d have had to pay a penalty and interest. Tossers.
So, at late notice I had to find a new accountant but the accounts were late.
HMRC fined me £200 despite my situation and appeal, wankers.

Fucking Lowells, the debt collectors, they've been after me for about 12 years, following me around from 1 address to another, for 56 quid! I have to admire their tenacity
Check your credit history online and see if it’s showing as a default. After that length of time then it really shouldn’t be. Personally, I’d pay it off to stop the letters.

If the lid comes off you don't recycle it. If it stays attached then you do.Are you supposed to recycle the lid, or should you rip it off?
Not sure who had the brilliant idea to make bottles from recyclable plastic but lids from non-recyclable material.
