Complaint to BBC regarding Pete the Badge

Originally from Lancashire, lived in Accrington when I knew him travelling on the specials in the 80's.
Then moved down to London as he got a job at Heathrow when he couldnt get work up here.
To the OP he doesn't have learning difficulties at all, just an all round top bloke.

Simon Stone was making snide remarks during the game on the BBC live feed, no idea if he made this comment though, wouldn't put it past him
As I posted earlier he had told my son he has Aspergers. Whether that is a learning difficulty its hard to say as there are many levels of it as there are with Autism. I know a friends son who was diagnosed with Aspergers and obsessed a bit with history and politics, who got help at school and is now half way through a History degree. Maybe it was something he had identified in later years. But either way as you say top bloke.

This photo of Pete the Badge was on the BBC MOTD Facebook page:

Note the caption, calling him 'Bertie' rather than Pete. Everyone knows Pete, who is the most harmless person you could possibly meet. I believe he also has mild learning difficulties yet the BBC chooses to mock him. No fate is too gruesome for the despicable idiot who did this.

I'm suggesting tax avoidance (which you mentioned in the first place) is fine and not illegal.

You've only just brought evasion into it now.

No, you are mistaken. We've been concerned about tax evasion throughout.

You simply confused the issue by talking about tax avoidance, which scamming £2,000 by not paying your BBC license fees for 20 years, most certainly is not.

That's not true either.

Fuck me you are hard work at times. You know full well that "normal use" of a TV requires a TV license. Do I REALLY have to cut and paste 5 pages of small print so that you don't pick me up on some nuance???

Your original fucking post said tax avoidance, not evasion so wind it in.

As PB said, this isn't the thread for it.

Yes, it is. What you describe is tax avoidance.
Which is what you referred to on page two

So we can all pay a bit more. Well done, er not.

Where do you live, by the way. And what's your IP address again?

Honestly the absolute SHIT people get (and rightly so) about tax avoidance in this country and here you are bragging about it. This is something we ALL have to pay if we want to own a TV and it's not big and not clever avoiding it.

My final post on the matter.

It's true in principle. I didn't realise you had to post pages of small print and disclaimers, which would divert from the point of the post:

If you want to watch TV in the UK, you need to pay for a TV license. You know that very well.
You do NOT need a license if you watch catch up tv on itv, channel 4 or 5,and that is from the BBC web site.So your statement above is wrong, you need to get your facts right.
