Complaint to BBC regarding Pete the Badge

Are we? People are rightly annoyed with the BBC for taking the piss out of a City fan using a word that only rags use. Yet your first contribution to the thread was a sarcastic dig at the City fans who have expressed their disgust at the BBC. So forgive me for wondering why a City fan would attempt to take the piss out of other City fans, when there is a big fat juicy target called the BBC, who actually deserve it.
You're a big fat juicy target xxx

The club is perceived by many fan's as being weak when it comes to fighting our corner with the media. They have more power and money than we could ever have to do something yet appear to do nothing but keep on taking the punches. It is like a bullied kid in the playground hoping if he is nice to the bully he will stop slapping him about and nicking his dinner money. He won't.

why do we also insist on having two bbc employees in our own city square on matchdays. hugh ferris is an absolute **** doesn't hide the fact he is a rag a shite presenter basically just a wind up merchant. alastair mann while usually a good over viewer of the game on sunday said there was no way he could see aguero playing with jesus when we had just seen 10 minutes of the pair tearing Swansea apart. what I did was turn my back every time ferris spoke and turned back when danny and natalie, proper blues, were speaking. I would love to see us doing this en masse. aguero leaving was the main story on their teletext yesterday. cant wait to see jesus and Sergio playing together and shut all the fuckers up.

Ferris has one of the snuggest, most punchable voices in football

Partly successful. They've now changed the caption to "I wonder who he's supporting today" but I'm sure I've seen that used before. They've also changed the time-stamp to before the original one. But I've got the original safely stored away. I also tweeted Gary Lineker & Trevor Sinclair, asking if they were proud to be associated with that sort of thing.
Well done PB, keep the b@sterds on the ropes

I've just emailed Barbara Slater's PA and invited her (BS that is not Julie the PA) to do a similar Q&A to the one Mike Riley did 5 years ago. We'll see if she takes me up on the offer.

Great work VK. Can't help but be impressed (and tbh proud) of the way that you have seized this issue from the outset, calling it out for the disgrace that it is and going after those responsible in a professional yet proportionately tenacious manner. Thank-you.

I'm just fucking sick of it. I'm currently in the process of bombarding them with complaints about everything I can think of.

Haha. Anyway the Football focus crew lot are at Hudders from lunchtime on the day of our Cup game so there might be an opportunity for a group protest.

I know we won't be let in the ground until 1pm or later.

Honestly it is unbelievable reading what I see from some of the media over there. Here in the U.S., usually the only criticism you'll see from media outlets or journos in any sport is directed straight at performance or something that everyone could agree on being negative (i.e. a scandal or poor sportsmanship). It is so blatantly obvious that it is an agenda and it isn't even close. Like I said, the standard is nowhere near what it is here and I don't think that is a coincidence.
