Complaint to the FA Premier League re the Berbatov saga

I haven't been on here very much in the last few weeks...too busy at work sorting our credit crunch type stuff however, I decided to give myself a break and read Monty's latest letter. What an amazing letter, covers all the important areas and makes valid points throughout.

The fact of the matter as I see it (irrespective of Berbatov wanting to go to the Scum and Red Nose picking him up etc) is that the Scummers broke a rule, paid off of Spurs and the regulatory body don't want to do anything about those infringements.

Keep going Monty!

Agreed, all this drop it stuff & the media won't touch it i'm afraid just shows that people haven't read Monty's post or they are seeing what they want to see.
Keep it up mate it only takes 1 person at the fa or 1 Journo to bust this wide open.

Even if it doesn't go much further, its nice watching the F.A. squirm a little.

There a several questions to be asked.
1)What is the point of a contract?
2)What purpose do rules exist for?
3)Do inducements and hush money take presidence over proper conduct?
4)Is it acceptable for a Board member of the FA to be implicitly involved in an illegal approach to a contracted player?
5)What is the point of having a governing body that only acts when somebody complains?
6)Is it now the law of the jungle?
7)Who will be next?
I think we should be told.
More power to your elbow Monty.

Re point 4, when I wrote 'If press reports are to be believed, it is suggested that David Gill, who is your representative on the main board of the Football Association was present for at least some of these discussions' I was choosing my words as carefully as I could, as I do not want to receive a letter from Messrs Sue, Grabbit & Runne. However, if true, it would be a major scandal.

But on the other side of the coin it is possible that Spurs did give United permission to speak to Berbatov prior to him travelling to Manchester, but for their own face saving reasons lied to the press and supporters subsequent to this. Either way, all I ask is the truth, whatever it may be.
