Can you please let me know by what date you expect to be able to let me have a substantive reply to my e-mail of 28 November 2008? Some two weeks has passed by since I last wrote to you without even having received an acknowledgement; this is poor customer service by any standards.

I predict an Al Capone kind of outcome here.

Like when the Feds didn't get him but the taxman did. Here they won't launch an enquiry into the going ons at the Premier League, but there will be a wide-ranging enquiry into what seems to have been a blatant breach of their Customer Charter by not replying to correspondence within 8 working days. Heads will roll for that, I'm sure.

I will try the press once more when I get a substantive reply to this post, but they didn't bite last time and may well not when I try again. I've had various offers of help from media people on various different boards but when it has come to actually helping they have evaporated - with one honourable exception.

Any way this can be got out to a wider audience has my full backing.

I'm pretty sure you can send an e-mail & as soon as they open it it's flagged as recieved so they are then commited to reply......fuck knows how you do that with a letter though.
