More Old Git rather than lad, if you don't mind!

I will try the press once more when I get a substantive reply to this post, but they didn't bite last time and may well not when I try again. I've had various offers of help from media people on various different boards but when it has come to actually helping they have evaporated - with one honourable exception.

Any way this can be got out to a wider audience has my full backing.
I'm pretty you can send an e-mail & as soon as they open it it's flagged as recieved so they are then commited to reply......fuck knows how you do that with a letter though.

Recorded delivery - and there's another one also I think but can't remember it. It could also be couriered direct and signed for on receipt.

And I'd include a stamped addressed envelope for good measure: they've got no excuse whatsoever not to reply. Maybe we should get a petition together and send a letter with all the names, DEMANDING JUSTICE!!!

Take it to the government. They are always desperate for something to take the focus off their own failings.

The final response from the FA is:

I'm sorry you feel that The FA's Customer Relations department has not answered your queries as you would have liked. Our Customer Relations team have directly communicated with over 165,000 fans in the last year alone and as I'm sure you can appreciate, our staff are unable to engage in continued dialogue with all supporters.

While I appreciate we may not have alleviated your concerns, I would nevertheless like to thank you for taking the time to write. The Customer Relations team exists in order to collate views from the general public, build a picture of public opinion and feed this back internally within The FA. With this in mind, please rest assured, your comments have been noted.

If you wish to take this further, I would recommend that you contact the Independent Football Ombudsman (IFO).
