Complaint to the FA Premier League re the Berbatov saga

I keep watching that show on Setanta - "Football Matters" - to see if a. any City fans are in the audience, and b. if one shows up, if he'll have the opportunity to just blurt it out (then I can enjoy watching the panel make excuses and lick Fergie's purple arse). There's also the live call-ins Setanta have with Steve Claridge when he does his extended bit as part of Setnata News on Sundays.

I think when January arrives the chances of Rebecca Lowe going into the audience to seek out any City fans is pretty high, if anyone can get tickets for the show around January that would be the time...so long as they a. have guts, and b. are informed.

Keep it up Monty.

Thank you for contacting the Football Association. I have read every single piece of correspondence relating to your query. The bottom line is that Tottenham Hotspur have not issued a formal complaint with the final transfer of Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United. Your references to the the media speculation on the transfer can not be analysed and responded to in an official manner because it is mere speculation. as you clearly have an issue with this transfer I would strongly recommend that you contact Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. As it stands, the Berbatov transfer was agreed by all three parties without a formal complaint.

Rishi,

You seem to have fixated on the Berbatov transfer when I have made it clear to you that my complaint to your organisation was about the Premier League effectively tearing up its rule that prevents clubs from tapping up players. They have been quite clear about this, as the evidence I have forwarded to you demonstrates. The Berbatov issue is now very much a side issue to this.

Do you think it acceptable that the Premier League did this? And if so, are you saying you would have no objections if any other league that came under your jurisdiction altered their rules in the same manner?

Because if so, this really is a big story.

Keep it up MB!!! That reply from the FA is a complete fucking joke. It sounds as though you're starting to annoy them now :-)

Looks like his job is to fend off complaints from fans without having to deal with the issues raised:
