Computer help

OK. Thanks.

Just one more time.

What exactly do I need to do?

Can you explain it as simply as possible step by step, please.

Plug HDMI into the graphics card (Bottom one that's horizontal) then switch on the PC and it should boot up in display adapter mode. You can then either download the graphics card driver from AMD or Nvidia (What card it it ?)

If you find out which card it is I can send you a link to your driver.

God, I am so embarrassingly thick when it comes to computers.

I didn’t even see the other HDMI port below. :-?

Thank you all very much. :-)

I need a beer.

You're up and running mate, any more help you need don't hesitate :)

I am mate, thank you.

The PC is working fine.
I installed the wifi card from the other PC and download the driver.
I downloaded the driver for the graphics card.
It took a bit of time, and the use of Google for help this morning. but I got there in the end.
Many thanks to everyone for the help and advice. :-)

As for OP lappy question I wouldn’t buy a laptop that wouldn’t run W11.
W7 is so outdated.

The port you were plugging into is attached to the motherboard and uses the CPU's built in graphics chip (if it has one, not all do). A discrete card (as you have) has to be plugged into directly bypassing the motherboard. You can switch between the two if necessary by accessing the BIOS and I'm fairly certain you don't want to know any more about that :)

It’s so annoying I have a YouTube video playing in the background on an I-pad pro that I don’t know how to close it..?
At the same time there are four screens to one side and how do I restore it to one screen please ?
