I would be gutted if you were right.You know he’s not! But that’s not the point.
Everyone believed Stones would be Laportes partner in the future. He’s right, Laporte left. Both same age. But clearly he hasn’t lived up to what was expected of him. For me it’s clear as day Nathan Aké is John Stones replacement, given the homegrown quota.
Koulibaly/Carlos/Skriniar/Dias will replace Otamendi.
Stones is a really good player.
