The number of times I’ve seen people dismiss his achievements with bollocks like that is unbelievable. I’m firmly of the opinion that he would even get Bury into the Prem with a promotion every season if he was parachuted in there at level 9 of the pyramid.

Pep's first job was Barcelona B in the fourth tier.

Won the title by changing the style and mentality to the point that they were reckoned to be be better run than the first team.

I agree that this "League Two" thing is bollocks (like asking Rembrandt whether he's any good at cutting-in). But Pep's done it anyway.

Rightly so, if it had been anyone else, then only 3 out of the 7 seasons city have won the title would our manager have picked up the premier league manager of the year.

Incidently these awards have not been reported in the Guardian, Daily Telegraph or independent. Nor can I see it in the Times either. That should tell you everything you need to know about serious UK Sports Journalism.
Neither was is in the Mirror, Star or Sun.
