Both world wars could and should have been avoided,were it not for the egotism and posturing of political leaders.
Whether or not you decide to risk your life for the vanity and greed of a handful of self-important politicians is a matter for you and your conscience alone,and has nothing whatsoever to do with anybody else.
I respect those who go to war,especially those who pay the ultimate sacrifice,but I also respect those who's conscience simply cannot sanction the potential taking of another person's life.
It is an issue I can see both sides on,not unlike abortion,and to me there is no clear cut right and wrong,from a moral viewpoint.
