I can't believe we have fans siding with the fucking twisted media against an employee of our club.Garry Cook isn't perfect but compared to the clueless muppets who have been in charge for much of the last 30 years he is a big step forward.

He does surprise me with his lack of humilty, Nike must be an awful place to work, if it turns out senior manager like Mr Cook.

He had made gaffes but he has moved our club on a long way.
I personally don't want our club to become Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Peter Swales had this problem, he found it tough being in the shadows of the Rags.
He always had to do something and say something to appease / bull-up the fans and Garry Cook is the same.

Many fans will love his style and brashness and many will not.

I say lets not support the media vultures over one of our own.

100% correct. I sometimes think we have long term rag infiltrators on here trying to undermined our fans and some fall for it.

The top and bottom of it is like this:

He is aiming to take our club to the top

He is supported by our owners

He works for our club and is passionate about where we're going, and he believes he can get us there with everyone pulling together. Better than any other person has ever said or tried to do in the last 3 decades minimum.

Lazy journo's making up stories to sell papers again mate.

Cook im sure realise's he should have said 'I believe City can be the biggest and the best in the world' but he's a passionate man who speaks from the heart and not from the head and for me there is nothing up with speaking from the heart.

Having lived in Liverpool for ten years, I will slit my wrists if Rick Parry comes here. The man is an illiterate buffoon.

its all good, we used to be able to laugh at ourselves , pleas tell me that its still aloud.
we used to have a great sence of humour, its what has made us who we are, itll be a sad day, when a man cant make an error of judgment without it costing him his job, i was lead to believe that there was no such thing as bad publicity, we all loved him when he bought in TEVEZ, ffs come on its still the same man.

Nothing wrong with GK as far as I am concerned. Anyone who can wind up the rags be it the press or the shirt carriers will do for me.

He's an embarrassing prick who makes me cringe with his stupid comments. His job is to professionally project and promote the club's progress. He's behaving like a vulgar scouser who's just got 6-numbers on the lotto.

Cook is class. Yes he made a mistake but who doesn't. It was the passion of the tie and I'd rather have a great CEO like Cook who loves the club than some slimy cnut like Kenyon
