And give someone a criminal record for one drunken night? I would have more respect for the police if I didn't seem them sneakily parked up right where a road goes from 40mph-30mph.

Are you or your family police?

Nope, neither. If you are prepared to commit the crime....well you know the rest. Again, if a child is knocked down and seriously injured or killed by a car travelling at 37mph in a 30mph zone and God forbid it's your kid or one of your family then is it not right to enforce the law?

and what about the carnage a regular binge drinker may inflict on a member of the general public, but he kept being let off week after week because it wasn't an easy prosecution

Persistent offenders should be dealt with accordingly-but the coppers on the show even admitted the vast majority had never had any involvement with the police.

Yes they did but they also said how much some of those peoples characters changed after getting pissed. They also said most woke up the next day and were full of remorse and guilt.Maybe for those it was a lesson learned but they also said that there unfortunately are more and more who will never, ever learn.

Hence why I said those who repeatedly offend should be dealt with. Not the sharpest tool in the box are we, you should seriously consider joining the force, you'd fit in nicely.

the police were bigger wankers and trouble causers on that show than the acutal pissheads.

"Look at me, i've got power and a camera to film me showing the lesser people how much power i have got"

The actual footage of them creating trouble and the little interviews in between made them look like braindead numpties in hi viz coats.
