Corinthians make 35 million bid for tevez (MERGED)

Be interesting to see who "Sky sources" actually are, or whether it's just voices in their head too.....

If City actually do confirm rejection of bid then at least we will know the bid was sort of real.

Ha Ha - looks like old Kia has been caught with his pants down, AGAIN!

People should have smelt this rat as soon as he felt Talk Sport and Sky were suitable platforms to spread the word.

He's a money man, pure and simple. He would not risk such openness if there was the slightest chance of a deal coming off.

He's desperate, pure and simple.

Next stop Malaga, eh!

This is going to have to be explained to me.

Within the last hour comes this statement from Corinthians

Corinthians have confessed they want to sign Carlos Tevez on loan because they cannot afford to buy him.

Corinthians claim Manchester City's £50million asking price and Tevez's £250,000-a-week wages are out of their league.

Instead, the Brazilians hope the Blues will let him return to them on a one-year loan deal.

Vice-director of football Duilio Alves said: "It would have to be a loan. We cannot buy him, that is an absurd figure - unviable for the Brazilian football market."

Looks like he is staying

Make of this what you want....

Project Rain, I assume tolmie is referring to this
