Corinthians make 35 million bid for tevez (MERGED)

Nobody ever puts in their best offer first, and nobody ever accepts the first offer made - so no surprise, if they are serious they will come back again, expect we will accept anything in the region of £40m+
Cracking player, but we could do without this hassle every six months, and better for all concerned if he goes - providing we get a quality replacement - in Mancini we trust!!

the 35m was to go in tevez back pocket in wages ( probably with us paying more tha half of it)

Sky's source for the bid rejection is probably Kia....

Well spotted. You are clearly quickly learning the game!

Kia makes up transfer story... Kia discusses transfer story on various media outlets... Kia denies story on various media outlets... Kia announces anonymously that the deal is now off... Kia then goes public to tell the world how cruel Manchester City are to deny his friend the chance of ever seeing his children again... Kia renegotiates Tevez contract with City...!

-- Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:55 pm --

If we were genuinely offred a £40m deal for Tevez, trust me that City would snatch their hands off!

The fact that it appears there is only £5m difference between those valuations should not fool you.

We are never going to get there in the end!

wtf is this guy going on about

If true...hopefully they come with an improved bid. And really push to sign him.
