Cornwall (St Ives/Lands End/Salcombe)

Polperro (Cornwall) .... and Clovelly (North Devon) are well worth a look .

try the Rattler Cornish cider, its brilliant. They sell it in the Tesco's down there. better on draught(but quite expensive)only takes a few pints to get "relaxed" !

Great part of the world and the only problem you will have is deciding what not to see given the time available.

In 3 days I would recommend Marazion/St Michaels Mount, Kynance Cove/Logans Rock/Minack and if you like walking, do the hike from St Ives to Zennor (there's an easy route or if you prefer a challenging walk, stick to the coast path - graded "strenuous"!). Good food and a few pints of Tribune await at the Tinners Arms, and its a short hop bus ride back to St Ives. For beaches, St Ives' Porthminster is great, and Carbis bay (5 mins on the train) is long, wide, sandy and generally chav-free.
