You have to say, given they can doubtless afford it, that’s an incredible investment for their kids That’s an experience none of them will ever forget. An amazing, ridiculous thing to bear witness to, especially at such close quarters. The sights and sounds will never leave them.

Think the monarchy is on borrowed time, and that I think we’d probably be better off without the institution, but it was still a fascinating spectacle, so full of history and must have been incredible to attend.

Perfectly plausible that it could be the last one.

Gabon and Tonga eh?

As of 2023, there are 15 Commonwealth realms: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, and the United Kingdom.

The keyword there is realms where Charles is head of state. That is not all the members

56 independent countries make up the Commonwealth in Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe and the Pacific

Might be wrong, but I thought he was only head of state for about 1/4 of all the commonwealth countries?
