Very true. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I went right off it in the 90s when Fred Elliott was turning it into a cringingly poor comedy with his Foghorn Leghorn schtick and dozy sidekick kid.

I stopped before that I think but in the 70s it was a good laugh with some good characters like Eddie Yates and Stan & Hilda Ogden. :)
