Addendum to the Wales vaccination data on last page:

Just under 85% of all over 80 in Wales have had at least one vaccination.

78% of care home residents have been vaccinated along with 81% of care home staff.

This is when you need first subs . If people can’t make it or are scared to go out because of the weather , they should cancel their appointment and someone younger who is willing to travel out could then take the vaccine. Of course if the weather is that bad and the vaccine administrators can’t get to centres then yes it could be a problem.

Rang our surgery to see if they were taking names of people who could be there within 15 mins they reckon their not allowed

That is a good idea, might give my surgery a ring on monday and see if they have a reserve list

All vulnerable groups will by vaccinated by April. Isn’t it time to get on with life then? This virus isn’t going to disappear is it.

Those care home resident and staff figures don’t seem that great.

No we wouldn’t though we may have locked down quicker and saved lives if we’d listened better to SAGE.

Greater Manchester is one of the best areas in the UK for having vaccinated people in the 70 - 74 age group.

Latest figures show that only South East London who have vaccinated 68.9% in that age range are at a higher level than GM.

GMs data shows 86.5% of over 80s have had one jab and 12.8% have had both.

In the 75 - 79 age group 88.1% have been vaccinated

And in the 70 - 74 group 56%

This is NHS England data as of yesterday.
