If you think I'm having one now then another in 12 weeks then another in the Autumn no way,I will be having the one off Johnson & Johnson when it's available.

As pointed out, you won't be getting a choice of vaccine ever. The choice is get what you're given or don't get vaccinated.

I'm getting my first shot later this morning and I'm happy to have either of the current available vaccines. If that involves a second shot in 12 weeks and a booster later in the year then so what?

Hankock has just been on BBC breakfast news. Vaccine take up over 90% in 75s across the population including care home residents. I think he said 97% of 75 to 80 year olds had taken the vaccine.

There is a problem with take up in the social care workforce at two thirds vaccinated. Four fifths of NHS staff had taken up the offer of a vaccine.

More effort is going into convincing social care workers to take the vaccine. The numbers of Filipino nurses / carers might be a factor contributing to lower take up because an earlier survey said they were the least likely group to take the vaccine:

Pretty piss poor response from BAME (although the survey just shows hesitancy). Hopefully, these rates of vaccination can be driven up and any obstacles overcome.
