The vaccine isn’t mandatory. You can happily go through life and never have it.

Now if you mean mandatory in order [to] travel, that’s not really relevant as I’d argue that travel isn’t necessary as you have all commodities for you to live a normal life in this country. You can still engage in society here, where allowed by private businesses etc and be a fully functioning human being,

Also, if an individual travels abroad without a valid vaccination “passport”, they are breaking the law and will either be refused onto the plane or turned round at the other end, so my analogy is valid.

I agree with all of your points.

1. You're right, I'm not arguing it should be mandatory. I don't think it should be, as much as i'll be having one and would encourage everyone else to do so too.
2. You're right, I'm not arguing against that either. Many people do indeed never leave the country.
3. Again you're right.

I'm not sure what your point was supposed to be. The comment you responded to was a comment on another poster who said that the vaccine should not be legally required, but at the same time people who haven't had the (not legally required) vaccine should be legally banned from public spaces.

Not really. You can’t drink or smoke in certain public spaces to protect the welfare of others, I don’t really see this as any different.

The one caveat I would put in place is that it should only be introduced when everybody has had the offer of a vaccination.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and subsequent action or non -action as the case may be even if the science doesn't support it.

There are other ways you can sway them if common sense doesn't work.

Alert the media. I have a new side effect caused by having the AZ vaccine.

My US publisher just sent me a form to fill in which starts off by stating that I am now regarded as a 'nonresident alien' and need to offer proof of this.

I am sure the media will be keen to reveal this new side effect - AZ vaccine turned me into an alien.

Offers over £50K and I will let them have an exclusive interview.

Obviously these two things cannot be unconnected. It must be the fault of the vaccine.

Getting the Novavax jab on April 1st. And second one April 22nd. Ive been on the trial for 6 months. I assume it will be more widely available soon.
