Your chatting nonsense because your overriding objective is anti government not the welfare of the population. Those who are at risk are not going to put themselves at risk. If the vaccine doesn't work for them then they (me included) will continue to shield like we have for a year. If some vulnerable don't have the vaccine for bullshit reasons then they have made their own bed. For those who can't have a vaccine there are alternatives that are not too far off by all accounts.
I hate this government but what are they to do? fuck the well being of the overwhelming majority of the population for the morons who believe facebook and twitter over scientists?

Not that it was right in direction of change or numbers yesterday but Zoe App today shows its first increase in some days today.

Recall these are NOT case numbers or tests - but self reported symptoms made across each region to the App.

Total UK cases today are up 253 to 4415

The better news for the NW is that its symptom reporting numbers fall.

Here are the UK regions in order of highest to lowest infections reported:

TOP: (range of symptoms reported per million across each region)

Yorkshire 73 - 218

Wales 46 - 266

Scotland 47 - 255

London 40 - 103

Midlands 33 - 123

North West 31 - 111

South West 27 - 86

No but if people believe nonsense over experts then they lie in the bed they have made until hopefully herd immunity or they see sense.

Once we're 20% above herd iimmunity they can come out they're unlikely to infect others and unlikely to catch it themselves.

What are your thoughts on mandatory driving licences? Doesn’t that discriminate against those that can’t drive?

Blind people can never get one, so do you believe they should be scrapped?

Driving licences aren't mandatory. I can happily go through life and never have one.

Now if you mean mandatory in order drive, that's not really relevant as I'd argue that driving isn't necessary with public transport etc. whereas actually engaging with society is pretty essential when it comes to being a moderately functional human being.

Also, if an individual drives without a valid driving licence, they are breaking the law, so your question isn't the same thing.

Meanwhile in the real case data - the 6 day old finalised cases - the England regions look a little different.

Higher up these lists - recall - the worse you are doing.

Yorkshire is still top - with the only Weekly Pop over 100 at 106 up from 101 in 7 days. The only region rising by 5%

East Midlands is second at 82 down from 90 wk to wk and falling by 9%

North East is third at 77 - down from 84 wk to wk and falling by 8%

North West now sits just below mid table at 75 - down from 78 wk to wk and falling by the least amount just 4%

West Midlands at 67 is down from 79 wk to wk and falling 15%

East is 44 and down from 51 falling 14%

London scores 39 and is down from 44 and falling by 10%

South East is second best at a weekly pop of just 37 - falling from 39 and by 10%

And South West stays top of the tree with a weekly pop of 32 - down from 35 and falling by 8%

Wales as I posted earlier comes in at 43

And in GM as of last night (data which is 5 days newer than the above I emphasise) Trafford at 49 - well as it is doing- is above every southern region.

And only Bury at 73 is also below the NW average.

Most GM boroughs are rising slightly at the moment.

All of the other 8 are above East Midlands - with Tameside at 119 and Rochdale at 121 even higher than the Yorkshire score and Wigan at 105 and Salford at 104 almost level with it. And Bolton 101 not far off either.

The other 3 are sub 100 but above East Midlands at 82 - being Oldham 98, Stockport 94 and Manchester 88.

So relatively speaking GM is one of the main drivers of the cases in England right now (around 8% of the England total per day) though far lower in raw numbers than it was even 6 weeks ago.

But up on the 5% you would expect as that is its percentage of the England population.

Of course, pandemics spread much more easily in conurbations so that is not as terrible as it might seem,

The vaccine isn’t mandatory. You can happily go through life and never have it.

Now if you mean mandatory in order [to] travel, that’s not really relevant as I’d argue that travel isn’t necessary as you have all commodities for you to live a normal life in this country. You can still engage in society here, where allowed by private businesses etc and be a fully functioning human being,

Also, if an individual travels abroad without a valid vaccination “passport”, they are breaking the law and will either be refused onto the plane or turned round at the other end, so my analogy is valid.
