Yeh someone posted a link on here to a story on the BBC website about a dentist who had volunteered to do the jabs. He had been asked to fill in a huge document and provide evidence of qualifications and courses he had attended. He pointed out that as a fully qualified dentist he had to have all of these but actually collating and then providing certificates for courses he'd attended years ago was going to take him ages so he gave up.
He made an arse out of the first lockdown my god 2 million flying in an out during a pandemic:( I ain’t got much faith in him getting this one right ...........Another step in the absolute shitshow that is this governments dealing with this whole pandemic.
School's were safe yesterday but not today, my 16 year old has got his mock exams next week and GCSEs in 4 months, I presume none of these will go ahead but as there has been absolutely no committal comments from any of the clowns 'in charge' we dont know as yet.
These new lockdown rules as blundered and stuttered out by the bumbling buffoon mean the only change in my family life is my kids don't go to school, I can still see my parents and Mrs Gaz's parents as they look after my 3 year old therefore they're in our childcare bubble and nursery is still open so she can still go there and mix with numerous other kids.
If the shithouse had put London in tier 3 when he originally should have I cant help but think all these new 'draconian' measures could and should have been avoided, but in doing that he may have upset tory party donaters and we all know that's the major crux of most of the issues we face, all the cunts are in it for themselves
The M60 was busier than ever at 6:30 this morning.I know it’s early days but roads didn’t seem any quieter on my drive to work.
I think it’s going to be tough to replicate the March lockdown.
If 30 million people can vote on election day why can't we have a vaccination wk and get the whole country done it takes 2 mins to vote 2 mins for injection or is that me being stupid?
He said GCSE exams were cancelled last night - he also said why he had left it as late as possibel to decided whether to close schools or not.
There’s absolutely no way tier 3 would have stopped this new variant, even though they should have closed London sooner.
Tier 3 wasn’t working in the NW, even before the variant arrived here.
Lives would have been saved so believe me, I am not suggesting it wouldn’t have made a difference and shouldn’t have been done but lockdown was inevitable.I don't disagree it wouldn't have completely stopped this variant but if London (and the South East) had been put into tier 3 when it should have im convinced we wouldn't be in full lockdown now
