I'm in my mid 40s and not had 1 jab yet sadly.
Just have to wait but I don't believe we will get everyone done by July 31 ,I just don't believe what they say anymore

They are well on target for all over 50s done by mid April, you should be done before the football season finishes I reckon.

we have all struggled throughout this at some point. You are not alone In that.

I found staying Off social media especially Twitter and try to watch / read news in a very limited way, like we used to. We are bombarded these days and it’s not healthy.

there is all the analysis you need on this thread and it’s far more balanced !!! I just wait for @Healdplace numbers each day and thankfully they make me feel good.

Small consolation I know but my 44 year old partner hasn't had his yet either.
You will get the invite soon I'm sure.

Hang on in there mate. One thing they’ve definitely gotten right so far is the vaccine rollout and they’re ahead of schedule on that. It might not be all jabbed twice by July 31st but I’m sure everyone will have been offered their first long before then

You will be offered your first jab in May if you are 45 or over, I reckon. The roll out is focussing on second doses and first doses for over 50s this month. Next month will be focussing on over 45s. If you are lucky you might get get invited for the jab sooner

I know we couldn’t wait any longer.

but if they announced the start of easing restrictions in say June 1st.
pretty much everyone would have had the jab. Would be so much lower risk of people catching this.

but. Can’t complain how Government have done the dates as we seem to be well on track.

My mums 75 and had an appointment for her second 17 th April I think, she got a phone call yesterday and got it today 2 weeks ahead.
