Will just post the headline numbers on these every weekday. And as above each Monday as we get three days at once.

Unless asked not to do. But hospital data is more important than cases really now.

Let me know if that was too much and what you want if you want it shorter.

Thanks. But isn’t all the data posted in the Gov website at 4pm?

Unvaccinated people are up to 32 times more likely to die from Covid

I wonder if the majority of Mail readers really are unhinged anti-vax loonies or whether there are bots involved. If it’s the former we really do have a big problem in this country with nut jobs. If it’s the latter the management of the Mail must know and allow it to happen which means they are actively encouraging anti-vax conspiracy bollocks for their own ends.

UK

40 deaths - was 72 last week - BUT ONLY CONTAINS OUT OF HOSPITAL DEATHS IN ENGLAND - THE NHS DATA HAS NOT SHOWN UP AFTER TWO HOURS SO THEY GAVE UP WAITING AND WILL ADD IT TOMORROW.

IT WILL PROBABLY TAKE THE TOTAL TO AROUND 80 I SUSPECT.

THE OTHER THREE NATIONS ARE COMPLETE

40, 077 cases - was 38,009 yesterday and 36, 567 last week - up 2068 on day & 3510 week to week

But that includes the 4983 for Wales V zero last Monday. As explained earlier.

England only

31, 479 - down 4725 on yesterday & 1842 on yesterday

32, 081 - UP 602 on yesterday & DOWN 1228 from 33,309 last week

Not really. Just not sure why you’re posting all the data when it’s readily available to everyone.
I really do give up now. Sorry. I tried.

But the hassle trying to get the right balance is no longer worth it.

I accept the post above was not trying to achieve that but it is too hard trying to please everyone.

Good luck all.

If anyone wants to PM a question I will try to answer as I will likely still collate the data myself for a while at least.

But time to not post in here obviously I think now.

One in 10 adults haven’t had a single jab so most of those are nut jobs. Then add in the people who were obsessed with herd immunity and / or criticises anything that New Zealand have done to combat the virus. That must be a minimum of 10 million of the U.K. adult population.

Not sure why you are getting so worked up. You have contributed more than most on this thread and have been a valuable source of information over the last 18 months. I don’t see why you still can’t post and add to the general discussion. I simply pointed out that the data is readily available on the Gov website and after the recent thread (which subsequently got deleted) I thought we were moving away from posting data.

Unless it's in breach of the CoC I believe you can post what you want.

I can't recall any contribution you may have made.

Please don’t stop posting, Healdplace,
If people don’t want to read your posts, then, just don’t read them.
I just have a glance through the off topic posts, and have yet to read any of the sausage song, angling, central heating on yet etc threads, but have absolutely no problem with people who want to, each to their own.
Anyway, thanks for all the time you’ve put in providing much appreciated (by me), info on the COVID stats.

I did actually pm @Ric earlier asking why the other covid discussion thread got removed, just makes complete sense to have 2 threads so those that want to see the data can view it without everyone getting worked up.

Hopefully the second thread will get reinstated.

vincent - this world was not made for someone as beautiful as you or something like that. Love that song.

Apologies for not replying sooner, been busy with work tonight. Tbh, I never really saw the point of the other Covid discussion thread? It just quickly descended into the arguments that have sometimes plagued this thread over the last 18 months. Could see some merit in a separate thread for Covid stats I guess, although if you really don’t want to read those figures you could always put the poster on ignore.

You thought it was a good idea the other day? ;-)

I think it’s a bit harsh to expect people to put healdplace on ignore, surely simplest method would be to have the separate stats thread then?

You can hardly have a dig about petty arguments in a thread, otherwise you may as well remove 99% of the threads on bluemoon…

I did not even live in the uk anymore but I still read quite a lot of your posts , even the shouty conclusions you write as I do appreciate someone who has sincerely given there all to help others. You do really come across as a genuine person, however, I can see why some people are looking for an alternative outlet to discuss issues which are not stat related.

Even though I personally don’t understand what drives you to do what you do on here month in month out, I do respect what you do…this should probably be a PM, but hey it’s my 50th and I’m pissed in Paris having had a good time and would be sad to see you go as I dont see you on any other threads… hats off to what you have done on here and don’t be stranger..

that was why I made the other thread. To keep this one as data and science. Had too many arguments and derailing’s recently so thought a new thread to move those too was the best bet. It worked well for politics and vaccine discussions ( to an extent) and failed horribly to stop the anti vaxer types with the conspiracy thread :)

easy come easy go :)

Couldn't agree more.....don't want to read something either scroll past for don't go in the thread.

It's getting like the outside world in here at times, the percentage of posters wanting spoon feeding is going up & up.

Happy birthday Blu.
