Everything is levels of normality, and trying to keep too many people from taking the piss. We are off to the in-laws shortly for a roast dinner - both of them have had both jabs, me and the missus have had our first. No difference whether we have this dinner now or in 3 months or 3 years time, at some point life goes on.

I know people will continue to die of this but it's heartbreaking when you think some of these could have been saved if the vaccine had come a little earlier for them. That's not to disparage the sheer fantastic efforts of the scientists etc, just that some got through the first 12 months and then died as the rest of us were beginning to see daylight.Only 5 of the 15 England hospital deaths were aged over 80 btw - that is 33%.
