Just had my booster. That's Astroglide, Fist her and now moderna in me.
Throw in a flu shot and I'm good to go.

I didn't say we were, read what I read slowly. But if 1% of 100k of daily infections result in hospitalisations how many days would it take before we got to that stage? We’re not even remotely near that scenario.
Get a fucking grip.

Some people like to risk assess. That includes worst case scenarios. With good reason I’d say.
We are not facing such a scenario.
Still if it keeps people in fear then it’s certainly a great narrative to keep repeating.
All together now………” we must protect the NHS at all costs”

You don’t. That‘s fine, but you don’t get to tell others how they should approach the pandemic.
You need the astro glide in order to recieve the fist her. Anything else is uncouth.Nobody offered me fisting when I had mine.
Shame as the nurse who did it was pretty fit.
Talking about ambulances not turning up to car crashes and bodies lying to rot in peoples homes isn’t risk assessment, it’s third world / Hollywood armageddon stuff.
It’s not remotely realistic or helpful. This isn’t rural Africa or the Middle Ages.
I’m off to bed, the loonies have taken over on here yet again.
We have the anti vaxers and then the "Grab all the toilet rolls because the world is ending", and we have everyone else shaking their heads.

That’s an extreme scenario that isn’t likely to happen.Talking about ambulances not turning up to car crashes and bodies lying to rot in peoples homes isn’t risk assessment, it’s third world / Hollywood armageddon stuff.

Why increasing number of Brits are dying in ambulances
The heavy workload in the British health sector has led to the increasing fatality rate among patients waiting to be admitted to hospitals, a new report claims.www.trtworld.com
For the record, I'm not predicting it, but very, very basic arithmetic suggests there is a number where hospital capacity is overwhelmed and given exponential growth it happens slowly and then very quickly. My main point is that any restrictions that are brought in, and were brought in, were because no politician wants to be the politician where that happens. But pointing that out isn't going down well and we are all in the covid bit of a football forum at half eleven so there are a billion better things everyone could be doing. That’s an extreme scenario that isn’t likely to happen.
Not being able to suggest anything slightly negative anymore seems to be where this thread is at.
I can post the Guardian link or the original report if you want? People have died in ambulances waiting for hospital beds. It's a fairly well documented thing that has happened over the last several months. An article from a state owned Turkish propaganda channel?
Lol okay mate.
Night.
I know, mate. I think we’ve reached the stage where some people are struggling to cope with reading about such things. For the record, I'm not predicting it, but very, very basic arithmetic suggests there is a number where hospital capacity is overwhelmed and given exponential growth it happens slowly and then very quickly. That’s all we can do. You assess what risk you are happy with for you and your household. It’s been the same since this began.Youre right, I don’t. Problem is they like to tell me.
Risk assess is a good one btw ;-)
