Its not too hard to make a shopping list and do a weekly shop. You can even do it on the alexa app if you have one. Our neighbour across the road gets in her car at least 4 times a day to pick something up. I saw her yesterday from a distance as I was pressure washing the front patio to relieve my boredom and she was off to get a bottle of peri peri sauce ffs
Fucking ridiculous, why cant people just have Brown sauce. :)

I checked the England cases versus tests to give the change in positivity ratings for the past five weeks data posted above.

They are:- from 9 Dec to today:

4.9% v 8,9% v 8.9% v 15.4% v 12.8 % TODAY

Surprised to find my Mum (66) has been given the call for her first vaccine next week. Earlier than we expected. Might put my mind at some ease.
It will and good for her. The more the better.

Presumably she has underlying health conditions.

Those are the only ones under 70 being called - outside workers in key jobs such as in health care or care homes - between now and late February.

Allegedly.

My best friend at 88 and with several of these and who was on the shielding list (the thing being used to select I gather) and a lifetime working for the NHS before retiring is still waiting. She lives in Gorton.

Even I am older than your mum and not expecting a call until March as happily I have no obvious issues to bump me up the list.

Not complaining. Happy for her.

That's good news. Do you mind me asking, does she have any health conditions which would put her so high up the list? Good news either way.

None. Which was why we were surprised and left scratching our heads. The practice she goes to is used by many young people so we’re wondering if there are that many waiting for it. For what it’s worth its in Fylde, Lancs.

None to her or my knowledge, which is why it came as a surprise. Actually thought my Dad would be first as he has a long list of underlying health conditions. They don’t live in a city so that may have something to do with it.

Hope your friend gets it soon.
