Some interesting data in this for anyone who is interested in this sort of thing. Over 85’s are clearly the biggest admission group to hospitals but 65-74 for intensive care. I presume that’s because they won’t allocate intensive care beds to over 85’s when demand is so high?
Yes sadly most will be too frail for the treatment techniques used in ICU.

This will be an issue with the icu capacity problem, this probably won’t go down until vaccinations have moved down into the lower age group.

Yes , nobody can give a definative answer on immunity , just most or maybe or could do and the like
My stepmother had antibodies 3 months ago.

She’s now ill having caught it off my dad for a 2nd time.

She’s been in bed this week with it.

Unless there’s a problem with the antibody test (there isn’t) or the Covid test itself (possible but unlikely), then you can definitely get it again and be ill with it.

Ex Wife and kids mum has taken a turn for the worst after 9/10 days of it .

Has she had 2 positive Covid tests??

My niece, who is a GP, reckoned the antibody tests were only 60-70% accurate and that was a few months back so possibly your stepmother had a false positive?
I reckon the tests are too mate.

My Mrs and mother in law got positive tests and I got negative.

There’s no way I didn’t have it and my Mrs did.
