GM Weekly Pop Data after today:~
Borough / Pop Today / 7 days ago / up or down wk to wk/ Testing is % of local population who have tested positive for Covid over past year.
As ever with Pop going up is bad, going down good - the higher the number the better or worse depending on direction moving. The Pop is total cases in past week versus 100,000 POPulation to even out the comparison versus size and expected cases based on numbers living there.
Manchester 448 / 356 / UP 92 Testing positive 11.2%

EVERY borough - even Bolton - is now UP week to week in Pop score numbers. Many by big numbers.
Wigan join Manchester and Salford in the 400s today well ahead and where Bolton was 6 weeks ago at the height of the arrival of the new variant in the NW.
Stockport and Bolton the two best boroughs (if 200 numbers are in any way best that is!) as every one eke in the 300s heading up. But Bury has the lowest week to week rise/
Tameside's high numbers took them over 300 in their Pop Score/
Trafford case numbers remain worse than Stockport and lost another huge chunk of its lead on overall Pop Score.
Stockport now on 8154 after the 'lowest' GM Pop Score rise in a while by anyone ('just' 25) and Trafford rose by 44 to 8093 cutting their once unassailable 200 point lead by that 19 difference in one go to just 61.
However, Bolton still has the highest GM Pop Score on 11, 572.
With Manchester rapidly catching up by another 56 today to 11, 229
Rochdale on 10, 743 and Oldham 10, 733 still pacing one another.
Salford rose to 10, 511 and Bury just behind on 10, 427.
Wigan went up by 60 to reach 10, 145.
So just Stockport and Trafford - both in the low 8000s for now - and Tameside a rung above in the 9000 club on 9041 are not alreasy in five figure Pop Score numbers.
