The end product isn’t the same, sorry, you can’t say x happened to y % of people who took the vaccine over a z period in trial! It’s why it’s still only emergency approved over half a year later!!

In regards to the FDA, mainly because of the suing culture in the US and therefore the tendency to get it right (I personally reckon they’ll drag it out a bit for the reasons stated above) and they’ll almost definitely have a bigger budget (bit as we know in footy that doesn’t alway matter though :) ).
I've had a glance over the terms of the EUA from the MHRA and I can't see anything that I haven't been expected to include in a formal submission. If anything the EUA dictates a more stringent release protocol (individual batch release assessments).

The FDA are definitely not one of the most difficult jurisdictions to satisfy.

ENGLAND HOSPITL ADMISSIONS DATA

GOOD NEWS IN THE NORTH WEST

Admissions (on Monday recall so usually up from weekend lag)

610 - up from 502 Sunday and 416 last Monday

North West admissions DOWN - 105 - was 114 last Monday,

As expected the other regions are now starting to overtake the NW

London up from 55 to 96

Midlands up from 81 to 122

NE & Yorkshire up from 95 to 142 - Much the highest today, And now where NW sadly was for past few weeks

NW the only region going down. All be it very slowly but enough to be overtaken by two other regions and close to a third doing so any day.

Having a nightmare here Need to vent

My wife attended her brothers wedding on Saturday and has now been told she has to self isolate. Turns out her mum had seen her sister (who tested positive on Friday) the day before and decided to lie to my wife and said she hadn’t seen her went to the fucking wedding and now her mum has also tested positive and infected god knows how many.

Due my second jab Friday so hoping I don’t get it we are all testing negative at the moment. she was holding my 18 month old son as well as my 5 year old who suffers with asthma. To say I’m not happy is an understatement and to top it all she called me disrespectful as I said she was selfish as it doesn’t just effect her family!

My very vulnerable mum looks after our children when we are at work so now she has potentially been exposed as has my dad who has met numerous elderly clients over last few days blissfully unaware my mother in law is such a selfish twat. Not great fun either trying to test two young children poor bastards.

They have been flouting the rules the whole time and I bit my tongue but I fucking lost it with her today still absolutely furious

Chances are if she caught it only the day before the wedding it's unlikely she was infectious at the wedding. Most sources say the incubation period is from 2 to 14 days. Can understand your anger though.

ENGLAND HOSPITAL DATA VENTILATORS

Total UP 19 to 489

Last Wednesday numbers rose by 24 to 377

Regions: Change since yesterday and V was Last Wednesday

EAST UP 4 to 30 - was 18

LONDON UP 11 to 112 - was 74

MIDLANDS UP 6 to 90 - was 64

NE & YORKSHIRE UP 1 to 85 - was 66

SOUTH EAST UP 2 to 32 - was 19

SOUTH WEST STAYS AT 19 - was 13

AS FOR THE NORTH WEST:-

DOWN 5 to 121 - was 123

The only region to fall and also down week to week. When others are clearly rising,

Just one day and it might change but these trends in the NW right now are looking hopeful.

Still no full data due to rhe processing problem but they have posted on Gov UK THIS basic note of numbers

All settings deaths 49

Cases 42, 302 - a pretty big rise unfortunately.

Yesterday was 36, 660 and last Wednesday 32, 548

More later when they do update.

But we are clearly now seeing the rise in hospital numbers and cases driven by all the other regions coming up to the full power of Delta a few weeks behind the NW and Scotland.

More deaths will inevitably follow as the last link in the chain.
