I can see both sides here. Passed many joggers puffin and blowing in Heaton Park , Daisy Nook and Brookdale Park, always have to turn my back. They NEVER try to avoid you. However the family with 6 people always stay across the path, abreast. When I'm walking with my family and I see oncoming people I say "single file". Why the fuck can't others do it?

Got similar issues on the loopline (a shared use national cycle route) near me. Cyclists should keep left and joggers/walkers keep right and walk into the oncoming traffic (the cyclists)as you would on a road with no pavement. It’s a been a bit of a free for all during lockdown, when we are down there we try and use the path considerately but a lot of ppl just don’t give a fuck.

Have you travelled outside your area for the run, if so you have no right to run there.
No, in the legal interpretation Heaton Park is within my locality. Anyway, it’s time to move on. Hope you’re well pal.

Funnily enough they are even clarifying that I’m correct, and fine, on BBC at the moment due to the issue with these 2 women being fined yesterday.

Jesus, my wife's school are already appealing to parents for old laptops to be donated so pupils can have use of them and avoid them coming into school.

She had one mum this week who they know isn't a key worker trying it on, saying she needed to work from home.

A fucking call centre worker for Aviva.

So many 'parents' in this country do not perceive school as a treasured place of learning and discovery.

It is seven hours a day they don't have to think about them at all.

Wankers.

Don't deserve to have them.

Zero responsibility.

But 4/6/8 abreast is wrong whether we’re in a pandemic or not when anyone is trying to get past, it’s just bad manners.
Amazing how many walk abreast across a farm road and dont even acknowledge that some one using a crutch has stood to the side to maintain distancing. Surprisingly many mothers with teenage daughters

I’m a bit bemused by quite a lot of comments on here yesterday, I’ve driven daily through Stockport into Cheshire and to Liverpool, then to Bolton, Rochdale and loop twice a day, it’s very quiet out there compared to pre lockdown.
Shutters down everywhere.
At every point of arrival, there is no entry and contact is phone only. Can’t even use toilets.
On my way home I call in supermarkets daily and mask wearing is everywhere, trolleys getting sanitised and their not busy.
I’m out there in Cheshire Merseyside and Lancashire back to GM daily, trust me it’s honestly really quiet.
Correct.

there’s an attitude with some people that stinks that basically pins the blame for any rise in cases on other people.

it’s a virus, it spreads more easily in winter.
It is not possible to lockdown further beyond ordering all businesses to be banned from any staff attending which really would wreck those businesses and the economy.

I don't pass bum information on it was on TODAY's West Midlands news and also in the South West news. No its not the national figure which as you say is Monday but that doesn't mean it isn't reported at other times.

*All* this data has a lag, often several weeks rather than days.

R number estimates require the rate of change of infections; self evidently that's quite impossible between Tuesday and now when restrictions were imposed - infections aquired from Tuesday will not yet be reported as cases.

People like you should be locked up and key thrown away.

A work mates mum has tested positive yesterday I was with him yesterday and he lives with his mum. Does that mean I now get tested or do I wait for his test results ?

Sorry for asking but I cant keep up with what the government says ;(

I don’t think you have to do anything, only if your work mate tests positive. I assume he’s going for a test?

No, but you should isolate, and then only get a test if you start showing symptoms. However, you could always book a test and say you’ve got a symptom if it’d make you feel better.
