Wasn’t yesterday supposed to be a mistake? If you want to know why cases rose today you need to look south
For the first time North West was below more than one other region even without adding the NE & Yorkshire and the two Midlands areas - though both of those are also true today.
NW on 5058 remember.
The two Midlands on 7056
The NE & Yorkshire combined on 7031
BUT ALSO
South East on 6372 - over 1000 ahead of the NW
East on 5784 - over 700 ahead of the NW
And London a big jump up to 7036 - more than even NE & Yorkshire combined and only 20 behind the Midlands.
And a whopping 2000 ahead of the NW.
This is one set of data and thing could change but it is hard to ignore the reality now that the NW data has improved and looks to even be starting to go in the opposite direction.
May all fizzle out tomorrow
But just as we are seeing in Scotland this NW data - not just here but in hospitals which counts even more - is looking hopeful.
Soz but you'll need to show proof before you re-enter the thread.Got my 2nd jab later this afternoon.
Not even a little? You can tell me i won’t judge:-)Spoke to some of the guys I used to work with on Sunday. One of them wasn't there. Proper conspiracy theorist who claimed covid was a load of nonsense. The type to have a go at someone for wearing a mask because they shouldn't allow themselves to be told what to do. Anyway, turns out he got covid last month and he's not been the same since. Lost over two stone, apparently.
Obviously I don't wish illness on anyone but I hope he's just as vocal about his own experience as he was about denying everyone else's.
i am not sure what to do in my current situation. Mrs away with my kids and nephew. He has caught Covid and on way home, Mrs and Kids have already had it. Can they stay? Can they get reinfected after just 2 months?
Great post!People whining about their "human rights" objecting to vaccine passports need to open their eyes to what real human rights violations are.
Last time I checked, throwing people off buildings because they're gay, or having child soldiers, or gassing your own people wasn't a thing in the UK.
Grow the fuck up you thick twats. The fact we've *EVEN GOT VACCINES AT ALL* puts you in the 1%, let alone whining about needed to show a covid pass on your smartphone while going to a pub, football match or gig.
There's people without drinking water, food, and being blown to pieces on this planet.
"Human rights". Give it a rest. What an insult.
No mate he's not had it before, been double jabbed he's been really ill last couple of days just not quite bad enough for hospital he's on the mend now, I like to think in this case having the jabs has saved him from anything worse.Had he been infected previously do you know? I had it in January and have been double jabbed since early June so would imagine my level of protection is pretty high. I just feel that the longer this goes on, there are naturally fewer potential hosts that can catch it, either due to previous infection or vaccination. I'd be interested to know how many kids have had it as well compared to official figures, seeing as though many can get it and be asymptomatic.
Great post!
I’m fucking sick to death of hearing this “my civil liberties” bollocks. The shit side to having a liberal society is that people think they are hard down to when in reality they have it fucking well easy, and they can’t handle a bit of change, a bit of inconvenience or adversity.
That’s true tooProbably says more about the opposition.
