And now…
Border Force told to stop checking any paperwork from green or amber countries!

As I've said The, the plan is to infect the youth and get them immune as 20% won't have jabs. Possibly to also go for herd immunity now and not get 3 times the deaths and more infections in the winter months

Based on absolutely fuck all except gut feeling I reckon case numbers are peaking sooner rather than later.
Hope you're right mate I really do, it's starting to hit the younger generations now and while most will be fine after a short illness occasionally it will catch the wrong person and more sadness will arrive at some poor families door. :-(

2nd jab, this time at a walk in at a different place to my first appointment and still a slick operation. At Elizebethan Suite Bury if anyone's after a 2nd Pfizer. They go 4-8pm I think til Thurs.

The last few days figures appear to give the impression it might just be on the wane so there is some evidence other than our gut feeling. I was a little disappointed with today’s case numbers but I think they’re made to look worse by yesterday’s unexpectedly low total.

GM Weekly Pop Data after today:~

Borough / Pop Today / 7 days ago / up or down wk to wk/ Testing is % of local population who have tested positive for Covid over past year.

As ever with Pop going up is bad, going down good - the higher the number the better or worse depending on direction moving. The Pop is total cases in past week versus 100,000 POPulation to even out the comparison versus size and expected cases based on numbers living there.

Wigan 822 / 569 / UP 253 Testing positive 12.2 %

Oldham 794 / 681 / UP 113 Testing positive 12.9%

Salford 708 / 566 / UP 142 Testing positive 12.4%

Tameside 700 / 489 / UP 211 Testing positive 10.8%

Rochdale 677 / 655 / UP 22 Testing positive 12.7 %

Bury 606 / 433 / UP 173 Testing positive 11.9%

Stockport 600 / 453 / UP 147 Testing positive 9.6%

Manchester 580 / 520 / UP 60 Testing positive 12.9%

Trafford 540 / 536 / UP 4 Testing positive 9.7%

Bolton 509 / 357 / UP 152 Testing positive 12.8%

Wigan on its own now in the 800s,

Even Bolton broke into the 500s so every GM borough 500 and up.

Stockport had another good day and fell but not quite enough to go back below 600. But enough to overtake Bury again even though its cases were low today Pop Score wise they were bigger than Stockport's from the expectation based on POPuation.

Stockport up on the day a little to a Pop rise of 70 - a normal score before last week - to 9651 - but Trafford did much better again up just 51- to reach 9766 . So Stockport's lead falls again by a whopping 19 to 115.

Trafford had the lowest Pop score today in GM again.

Trafford will overtake Stockport in a week or two if these numbers persist and by this time next week both will likely be on the verge of exiting the 9000s and leaving GM an all five figure county.

Going to be close who is the last GM borough standing sub the 10K club over the next week.

Bolton up 58 to 12, 817

Manchester up 62 - now on 12, 994 . Will crash into the 13 K club as GMs first inhabitant tomorrow after just avoiding it today with a good score.

Rochdale up 72 onto 12, 697.

But Oldham up 88 -to reach 12, 907 . Closing in on the highest overall Pop Score in GM and second behind Manchester. Who should now beat Oldham into the 13K club tomorrow - though it is not impossibe they both will tomorrow together.

Let us hope not!

Salford up 80 to go onto 12, 411.

Bury up 62 - same as Manchester - to 11, 956 - will crash into the 12K club tomorrow. Could be a busy day for that story of thing when it used to be a rarity when numbers were low.

Tameside rose 77 up to 10, 767.

But Wigan were again the biggest riser today despite a huge fall - and did enough to avoid ANY GM ton ups today on 'just 9'2 to 12, 197.

There are now 6 GM boroughs in the 12K club and Bury would make it seven tomorrow. But as it does at least Manchester will have ascended to the 13 K club and if Oldham has a bad day it might too - so tomorrow there will be 5 or 6 there and 1 or 2 in the 13 K club..

Now this may be a daft question, I have had my 2 AZ jabs but in a attempt to be allowed in to the US could I get, for example, a couple of the Pfizer jabs and how could this effect me as I have already had the AZ jabs ?

People are thick as mince. I've not even got a problem with those who think the cons are best suited to run the country overall but those who have stood by and witnessed the top man make cock up after cock up and embarrass himself and the country without holding him to account can fuck off. There is no helping them.

Like most things it'll be too late by the time it all comes out in the wash how poor a PM he's been.

Not sure how they can hold the government or Boris to account? They’ve only had one chance to do so in the general election and the next one is not for another three years.

The 2019 election was a no brainer to the general public, Brexit was still up in the air and they were the party who promised to get it done, the alternative was also Corbyn.

Boris and this government are done thanks to the shitshow that has been their pathetic handling of this pandemic, if there was an election next week they would be out and Starmer would be in by default. My fear is that three years is a long time and all of this could potentially be “forgotten” which would be a tradegy.

I wouldn’t underestimate the feeling of the general public away from forums like this or the echo chambers on social media, there are a lot of unhappy people with Boris and co who have supported them previously.
