29, 173 means 25, 434 in England - down 3534 from yesterday's 28, 968
And down 19, 343 on last weeks 44,777

I posted this this morning, Manchester had been falling then came the football final.Perhaps it overshot its peak so now the growth rate has taken a hit. That would work

Definitely falling exponentially now.
Not getting involved with this thread, that was just something i heard, if i was my numbers would be based on this time last year with adjustments made for the vaccine/weather/ schoolkids/bogus claims.Don’t know the figures, but those quoted figures are firstly fine, we did the maths on it when they were published. What I do know though also is a few of those positive cases in my daughters hospital have actually gone in for other things , been tested and tested positive, but not actually been ill with covid.

Didn't the same happen in India too? The situation there looked desperate and then numbers started plummeting after a while. Not sure what measures, if any, they brought in to combat it though.Astonishing figures! In a good way, obviously.
Not really my line but I think its because more of the Lymphocytes stimulated have had time to become 'memory cells ' before they are restimulated.

But presumably their vaccination numbers were nowhere near the UKs at that point?Just had a quick look, stayed at the peak for longer and never fell at half the rate.
But India's huge, and noone believes the case numbers are a good representation of reality anyway, so hard to make a meaningful comparison?
Been a bit strange here too.Just had a quick look, stayed at the peak for longer and never fell at half the rate.
