And this impacts you how?

Nobody is stopping you laughing your ass off at data on people getting sick and dying in a global pandemic.

Or not reading it ever at all. Which is your choice. And I have no issue with anyone doing that.

I do not expect more than a tiny fraction of those posting in here care about the data I post. Or read any of it. Bothers me not. Why should it?

I have asked the Mods more than once that if they want me to stop posting just to say so and I happily will,

But why laugh at it being posted - please just ignore. Simple.
It might frighten him, ignorance is bliss.

Pages of data everyday lmao. Like everyone keeps on top of your 300 posts per day. It's over a year and a half since this begun why not just post the summary like everywhere else. Surprised you find the time to do this everyday.

And what the fuck have you contributed?

Easy to punch down isn’t it.

HP’s posts have kept a lot of us sane over all this, taking the politics and hype out of the shite all the papers post and just sharing the facts.

It’s been invaluable and they’re doing it in their spare time. Have some respect.

I think it should have gone into a separate thread tbh. Start reading something and then a massive paragraph appear with how many cases a corner shop in Bradford has. General covid discussion thread and then one for discussing the UK and it's daily data wouldn't have been hard.

Cynic in me says Pfizer about to go up in cost again. Medicines being pulled left and right.

You repeating this does not make it true.

Indeed, I have previously posted modeling data significantly below subsequent figures. You ignored it.

Let me quote you from the recent modelling summary.

Uncertainty means it will not be possible to project which of these scenarios will likely occur nor can the peak’s timing be predicted until it has passed.

Far from making a prediction which was wrong, they explicitly said uncertainty was so high, no prediction could be made.

What the modeling showed was that further significant rises were plausible. That wasn't wrong, and may even get happen.
I do statistical modelling as part of my day job. If I produced models as accurate as theirs I wouldn't be doing my day job much longer.
The models they work to need serious attention.

I like the data. Read it most days. If you don’t, just click the ignore button? No need to be so abrupt and rude. Being kind costs nothing.
