I suggested that separate thread idea before but the Mods chose not to do so - as presumably enough people wanted access if only to read the bits they read.

But nobody has to read every post. Easy to skip over to the next one if it is data heavy. As some are.

I think it should have gone into a separate thread tbh. Start reading something and then a massive paragraph appear with how many cases a corner shop in Bradford has. General covid discussion thread and then one for discussing the UK and it's daily data wouldn't have been hard.

Right, I'm getting far too tetchy for my own good. Off on hols for a couple of weeks and going to have a digital detox.

Assuming none of us catches the pestilence, that is.

wow, this has been a great thread for support and information throughout the pandemic with so many good contributors.

now as cases are falling and it looks like we are starting to put this horrible thing mainly behind us the thread starts to descend into pettiness and a little rude To each other.

None taken. I have no issue at all with anyone thinking what they choose. I do not post in here for fun or glory. And I am very aware most people will not have the time to read most or even any of it.

And I would not knowingly be abrupt if someone missed something - and the reply that seems to being referred to was actually agreeing with the poster on the number they cited and why I post them in here every day. Because they do matter more as the poster had suggested rightly,

Been posting a lot less on here recently (even found time to venture onto the transfer forum!), but still logging on fairly regularly - mainly to check on Healdplace updates. Bang out of order for anyone to demean her posts when many of us probably find the updates the most useful data for the past year or however long its been in order to keep track of what's happening and make reasonably informed up to date judgements.

If you want summarised information there's LOADS of resources out there for just that. If you don't want to see someone's posts, click ignore, it's easy and I'm sure no disrespect would be taken. The 'why not do it this way' would be a fine suggestion if Healdplace was some kind of employee, that she is not and is infact doing everyone a favour just makes it plain ignorant.
