Stockport's had a much better day as Zoe foresaw. Wigan ceded lowest Pop score back to Bolton with a bad day in WN today.

Salford rising and over 200 but will adjust up by 100 or more on Thursday when the population change from last Thursday is removed from the 7 days covered by the weekly Pops and back on a level playing field versus the rest.

More boroughs are going UP every day week to week so THAT is the trend in GM for now unfortunately.

Stockport up by 35 today now 10, 638 - a far better day than Trafford had - up 58 - taking it onto 10, 737.

So Stockport's lead for the best overall Pop Score across the pandemic jumped up by 23 in one day -making Trafford now 99 behind Stockport for best overall Pop Score.

This nip and tuck for best Pop Score in GM has been going on since day 1 of the pandemic between these two closely matched boroughs.

Rochdale up 41 - to 13, 651.

But Bolton again had the lowest rise in GM with its Pop Score up by just 24 - taking it up to 13, 515.

Bury up 34 today - up to 12, 935. Another couple of days from the 13 K club,

Manchester up 43 same to JUST crash into the 14 K club on 14, 001
.
Oldham chasing it all the way DID the same - up 41 and also into the 14 K club on top score in GM of 14, 017 but cutting its lead on Manchester as highest Pop in GM to 16.

THERE ARE 5 BOROUGHS IN THE 14 K CLUB - ALL IN THE NORTH WEST. THE ONLY TWP HIGHWE ARE IN EAST LANCASHIRE - BURNLEY IN THE 15 K CLUB AND BLACKBURN WAY AHEAD IN THE 17 K CLUB

YOU CAN SEE WHY THE NORTH WEST HAS BEEN IN LOCKDOWN LONGER THAN ANYWHERE IN THE UK. THE PERFECT STORM FOR COVID

Salford is up 59 - the most today - to 13, 515 .

Tameside up 27 today - great score for them - onto 11, 749

And Wigan struggling a but today on 41 on 13, 057.

I work in the events and entertainment sector. I’ve seen the devastation this shitstorm has caused over the last 18 months.

So, no, I won’t lighten up.

FFS.

First to be closed down, last to reopen. Will be first to close again if things go tits up. Still, it doesn't quite bring in the huge amounts that sport does for the government I guess ...
