BOLTON UP SLIGHTLY TO 12 905 FROM 12 786 - bit of a slowdown from recent rises

BURY GOOD FALL TO 14 843 FROM 19 108 - Still top in GM but well down and lowest 'high' Pop Score in past week in GM.

MANCHESTER DOWN TO 14 074 FROM 14 240 flattened off now falling here but still high just below Bury

OLDHAM DOWN TO 3797 FROM 4736 - been falling in recent days and now easily best in GM

ROCHDALE DOWN TO 11, 143 FROM 15 060 - promising falls here too in recent days

SALFORD DOWN TO 14 145 FROM 15 790 - still high but edging down

STOCKPORT UP TO 9185 FROM 7783 - a rare rise today in GM not boding well for SK as Zoe has been getting its up/down path right lately.

TAMESIDE UP TO 8218 FROM 7651 - neighbour borough with Stockport and they often mirror one another in numbers and do so again - though less severely here

TRAFFORD DOWN TO 8339 FROM 10, 715 - been around 12/14K for a while and this series of falls may be a sign as it now drops into the sub 10K lower lower watch zone too

WIGAN WELL UP TO 14430 FROM 8148 - had fallen fast in past week reflected in low cases and best POP score in GM ahead of Bolton - BUT that reversed last night and Bolton recaimed top after big rises in WN - so real data fits with Zoe here too.


Others:

CHESHIRE EAST -like Tameside often tracks neighbour Stockport but doing a little better than SK right now though all fairly close - is up to 8389 FROM 6074.

LIVERPOOL - flattened around almost exactly the same place as Manchester 14/15K - But UP TO 13 498 FROM 12 515

WIRRAL - is back up today to 20 098 FROM 18 044. One of the highest in the NW now.


FYLDE & WYRE (The Blackpool holiday coast) is showing big case numbers - around the highest in the North West - due to presumably packed beaches and bars post the end of restrictions.

The Blackpool area has one of the highest Pop Scores in the UK. Above all of GM. Cases are UP only a little today though to 20 614 FROM 20,443

Can I ask what your views are on this? One of my colleagues who’s not had her vaccines and is trying to talk her 16 year old son out of getting his sent it to me.
I do appreciate how worrying it must be for parents. Is it fake news?

As rare as rocking horse manure. Like clots with AZ. Its more dangerous having a bath.
If you're worried don't do strenuous exercise for 3 weeks after a jab.
The other anti-vax lie is that that you don't recover from Myocarditis. More ant-vax bollox I'm afraid

yes ..dr john cambell on youtube been saying the same thing for months ..anti viral treatments along side the vaccines..lets hope a few are on the way
 
SCOTLAND DATA

10 deaths - was 13 last week

1498 cases - was 1271 last week

5.0% positivity - was 4.7% last week

356 patients - UP 4 on yesterday - down from 383 last week

42 ventilated icu - up 2 on yesterday - was 58 last week



DATA IS ON A BIT OF A TIPPING POINT HERE

MAY BE A MID WEEK BLIP OR START OF AN UPWARD TRACK


THERE ARE CERTAINLY SIGNS HERE OF A SMALL INCREASE ON ALL THE KEY MEASURES - CASES, POSITIVITY AND IN PATIENTS AND EVEN VENTILATED ICU NUMBERS WERE STILL GOING THE RIGHT WAY BUT UP TODAY.

It’s one of the problems of having a terrified and incompetent government and a sensationalist media. A recent real time study suggests that you are 5/6 times more likely to get myocarditis from having Covid than from the vaccine. As long as having the vaccine means you will be protected from myocarditis when you catch this virus, as most of us probably will, then it’s a no brainer.

That being said, so was pushing AZ as fast as possible, but we managed to cock that up between our understanding of real risk and our lamentable media pushing an alarmist, often untrue narrative.

yeah I think Covid deaths will be killing people for years to come and won’t ever be done with
We’ve had a flu vaccine for about 80 years but thousands still die from it every year
We can’t wait for no Covid to give people their freedoms back cos that’s never going to happen
