So that's a compelling reason to get vaccinated then, certainly for anybody over the age of 50? Less risk of dying from covid every year and no chance of side effects from a vaccine? Win win. Jobs a good un.

Independent SAGE is not independent it is a left wing think tank like all organisations that claim to be "Independent" so I'll take that with a pinch of salt.
Of course SAGE advices. But their advice is is to let Delta run it's course now to save many more lives and have less serious illness later on in the year.
Or did you miss Whitty and Valance talk about why it was better to open up now than later?

Independent doesn't mean you have a special focus or agenda or can be positioned in a certain politicial environment. Independent means that you're funded by memberships and donations.
