Independent doesn't mean you have a special focus or agenda or can be positioned in a certain politicial environment. Independent means that you're funded by memberships and donations.
Go on show me one "Independent" organisation that is centrist let alone slightly right of centre.

Not looked at these for a while but since case rates pretty near trebled in Scotland from last week's figures I thought I'd give it a look.

3464 cases vs 1383 last week
10.9% positive vs 5.6% last week

153 of the 3464 cases are in people aged 65+
556 are in people aged 45-64

977 are in people aged 25-44
1767 in people aged 0-25

Reminder that schools only just went back this week, in many regions only on Thursday, some on other days.

So, any ideas? Weather will be turning by now and nights drawing in, so presumably pubs and clubs will be prime spots for spreading. Cases amongst children will presumably rise later next week and then into family homes.

Sadly haven't a clue.

Hoping it's just a bounce as everything reopens, and settles before too long. Probably got another few weeks of growth before that happens with schools only just back though.

My best guess is just a mixture of everything really. Football matches, nightclubs, increased socialising in general, people taking tests rather than isolating after being named as a close contact probably another factor to consider.

What I'm absolutely certain of is that regardless of what's actually causing it, schools will be getting the full blame of it this time next week.
