he doesn’t want to pick it up at school and pass it on to either of us . Even though we are double jabbed it could still be nasty for either of us To catch it

I would have thought that was obvious.
The numbers are quite a bit higher if you include people with health conditions that make them vulnerable.
Did Covid kill them or were they in a bad way and likely to die in the near future anyway and Covid was just an extra helping hand to the afterlife?
Many countries only count count deaths from Covid if it was the principle cause of death not a contributory factor.
If we had counted both then encouraging people to be vaccinated who are not would be a lot easier.

Marginal compared to what?

Most estimates show multiples more risk from covid than from vaccination to 12-15yos.

It was approved by MHRA in June on the basis of positive risk/ benefit for all children of that age.

Give over - you're flogging a dead horse here. Marginal means "only just benefiting" in terms if health. Scientists and statisticians use the word all the time.

11.4% positivity - was 13.2% last week

1064 patients - up 16 on yesterday - was 805 last week

89 icu ventilated - down 1 on yesterday - was 77 last week

7 deaths - was 9 last week

1590 cases - was 1748 last week

6.9% positivity - was 7.6% last week

9991 weekly cases - was 10, 180 yesterday & 10, 316 last week

117 CARE HOME OUTBREAKS - WAS 120 YESTERDAY & 131 LAST WEEK- VERY GOOD NEWS AS THIS FALL HAS BECOME CONSISTENT NOW

441 patients - up 40 on yesterday - was 434 last week - FIRST RISE IN A WHILE HERE

36 ventilated - was 32 yesterday - was 35 last week - DITTO HERE

THERE IS EVIDENCE OF A FALL LIKE IN SCOTLAND IN THE YOUNGER AGES WITH THE 40 - 59 GROWING.

TODAY SPLIT OF AGES OF THE 9987 WEEKLY CASES

0 - 19 = 44.9%

20 - 39 = 23.2%

40 - 59 = 20.7%

60 - 79 = 8.5%

80 PLUS = 2.7%
 
So the total deaths with out of England hospital to come is today: - 170

Last week at this stage it was 210 - That became 209 on all settings later
 
And the three nation cases with England to come are:- 6889

Last week at this stage it was 9944

So a fall of about 50% week to week.

Last week England added 27, 545 to that 9944 to create a UK total of 37, 489

Yesterday England added 21, 077 to the other nations total of 9748 to create a UK total of 30, 825
