It WAS 46, 607 last Sunday - a FALL week to week of 2402.

Ongoing symptomatic cases also FALL for twelth day running.

But by the most in some time also.

FROM 679, 600 TO 669, 039 - A fall of over 10 K for first time in a while - 10, 561 - after falls of 1392, 5951,4129, 4595. 4710, 6108, 9353 & 7567 in previous days. So the most in the past week.

IT WAS 706, 485 last Sunday. A weekly fall of 37, 446 - up from a wk to wk fall of 36, 238 yesterday.

There is always a lag to the change in ongoing cases after a rise or fall in daily case numbers as ongoing cases persist and are not just counted on the day of first report.

Yorkshire stays in second but down.

East Midlands FALLS to seventh and into the lower watch zone.

BEST FALL today DOWN 617 / 864 FROM 663 / 918

South West STILL falling and now out of all watch zones on its own in the lowest numbers:

LONDON directly above SW in the medium watch zone is also well DOWN on 448 / 593 FROM 482 / 632

West Midlands is DOWN on 442 / 655 FROM 485 / 707 , South East DOWN on 465 / 579 FROM 485 / 602 and East DOWN on 474 / 632 FROM 496 / 658.

THE SOUTHERN REGIONS AS IN THE REAL CASE DATA ALL FALLING ON ZOE. AS IS MOSTLY EVERYWHERE

TODAY

GREATER MANCHESTER:-

Rochdale is -JUST - the new leader - and its numbers rose by 50% week to week yesterday in the real data after Zoe put them second then. Rochdale UP on 12, 854 FROM 9841

Stockport is now second and down a little today but still well into the upper watch zone.On 12, 764 FROM 13, 727

Oldham is third and UP into there too rising big on 10, 195 FROM 7903

EVERYONE ELSE IN THE LOWER WATCH ZONE

Manchester is fourth UP on 8533 FROM 7631

Tameside in fifth place and also UP a little on 8036 FROM 6813

Bury is sixth and also UP on 7214 FROM 6142.

Wigan in seventh UPslightly on 6856 FROM 6300

Trafford is eighth and DOWN on 6686 FROM 6929

Salford in ninth is just edging DOWN today (one of only 3 fallers today with Stockprt and Trafford) but again on its lowest in ages on 3890 FROM 3972

BUT BEST IN GM IS STILL - though UP slightly today - so it is now close:-

Bolton on 3488 FROM 3243

REST OF NORTH WEST

St Helens is well UP on 34, 550 FROM 31, 451

Liverpool is DOWN but still higher than all of GM on 19, 532 FROM 22, 363

Sefton also UP on 19, 697 FROM16, 566

So Merseyside not GM is the real problem in the North West as you can see according to Zoe. Explaining why the GM split of NW numbers is so good

Even Warrington is now well UP over all of GM on 17, 443 FROM 12, 365 and West Lancashire (in land between Southport and Wigan) rising again on 12, 299

The Wyre coast (Fleetwood) is DOWN though on 10, 400

LAKE DISTRICT NORTH DOWN A LTTLE ON 26, 194 AND LANCASTER AND MORECAMBE - WHICH HAS ROCKETED FAST UP TO ONE OF THE HIGHEST IN ENGLAND IS DOWN A BIT ON 22, 403

ONLY ST HELENS IS HIGHER

BUT ANOTHER AREA OF CONCERN IS:-

Cheshire East has followed Stockport again but risen fast into the higher watch zone but DOWN too today though still in the higher watch zone on 12, 198,

Moreover Chester and Cheshire West is UP a little again on 14, 962 - so the parts of Cheshire are very closely aligned and the nearest in numbers they have been to one another in weeks.

SCOTLAND DATA

AGAIN THEY WARN THE DATA ISSUES MIGHT BE IMPACTING THESE NUMBERS

2 deaths - was 0 last week - always low at weekends due to registry closures

3833 cases - was 5911 last week - good drop IF this data is meaningful - which is an IF these days,

9.1% positivity - was 11.5% last week

1074 patients - UP 22 on day - was 1019 last week.

100 ventilated ICU - up 1 on yesterday - waa 88 last week - Sad Milestone here.

BUT FOR CONTEXT UP 1019 TO 1074 PAST SEVEN DAYS - LAST SUNDAY IT WAS UP 300 FROM 719 IN THE PREVIOUS SEVEN DAYS - SO BIG IMPROVEMENT HERE.

Covid came home today.. as well as my youngest daughter having it my wife and eldest have tested positive my youngest is 10 and eldest is 14 and it’s floored them completely.I thought it’d be bad but to see it first hand especially on the young ones is quite heartbreaking. I always thought it’d be mild in children but it isn’t . The wife’s wiped out from this . Please everyone take care of one another and don’t believe the shit what’s out there regarding this dreadful disease.

up the blues.

Well, the last three days have been comfortably my highest risk for exposure since the first lock down was imposed, I think.

- 1st day back in the office on Friday
- Etihad Saturday incl first train journeys
- first time in a theatre theatre today incl train journeys again

I'm not worried for myself, but I do wonder as much of this is being repeated countrywide, how transmission will be affected.

Quite a few friends kids have gone down with in on the last couple of weeks.
