NORTHERN IRELAND DATA

UNFORTUNATELY WE ONLY GET THE BASICS AT WEEKEND BUT THE RISING TREND WE WERE STARTING TO SEE AT THE END OF LAST WEEK GOES ON SADLY IN WHAT WE DO GET

4 deaths - was 1 last week

1274 cases - was 992 last week

That is possible I do that quite a lot. Habit of being an author and used to editing articles and books on the fly to correct spelling or typos or clarify.

Just counted and posted this 5 times before I was happy. So that was 4 edits. In about 90 seconds.

But it would not have been to change the context or description of the numbers as they are what they always were.

That is 6 times in this post now btw!

no appreciate you clearing that up as I was being accused of editing to suit my post

So the total deaths reported today with only England to come are:- 45

Though Wales is two days not one so I will give last weeks as versus BOTH those days for just Wales

Last week at this stage they were 33

And the total cases reported today with only England to come is:- 9396 - most in some time.

The Wales data is two days so I will include both in this comoarison as above

Last week they were 8847.

This is the first RISE week to week outside England in recent week or two. Wales and Northern Ireland both being up.

That positivity definitely starting to bounce back up now.
It is but Scotland is at least down - Wales and Northern Ireland both tracking up now.

North Wales is starting to have issues again I gather.

Zoe seems rightly to have Scotland doing the best now as the lowest of all 12 UK areas.

North West is third.

ZOE - by the way - have gone into a THIRD rejig of the numbers in as many days and they have all shot way back up again from yesterday.

Frankly they are a waste of time right now as there is no way to actually track what is going on if every day to day is a new version of their tinkering. And trends are the best thing about Zoe and right now they are meaningless.

Personally, I’d bin off doing the ZOE numbers anyway, said before I know, but I’d just concentrate on top level numbers. I think that even regional numbers are pretty irrelevant now, bound to be peaks and troughs across the country and throughout counties, its just natural.

Doesn’t help that the worst cold ever is reportedly making it’s was through the country. I know a few that have got / had this and have been ill for days.

I’ve had a heavy cold this last week, coughing and sneezing, sore throat etc. I have done LFT’s and they have all come back clear, so just a cold. A lot of people have it at the moment apparently.

What's the worst day of covid after being double jabbed? I remember a year ago pre-jabs it was days 5-10 that were the worst - is the whole experience a lot different for those who have been jabbed? Does it peak sooner now?
My worst day (after symptoms appeared) was day three. Just sweating buckets all night. After that it started to improve. I had five days in bed and then five days isolating (but well enough to use a laptop) I was very tired for a couple of weeks afterwards.
