Most I imagine, especially those like me who was deliberately exposed to Chicken Pox as a kid.

Getting a vaccine would have been a lot easier. Although some of the ones I did get as a kid where no picnic, sick as a young pup after the BCG one (think it was called that).

little did anyone’s parents know this just opened up everyone to getting shingles later in life tho.

natural immunity works great. As expected. The only problem is that in order to get natural immunity you have to firstly contract the fucking thing.
id rather the vaccine
What about the many millions of people who already had covid? Many of whom are being prevented from entering restaurants and shops, or being fired from their jobs?

ZOE SUMMARY TODAY

MORE NEW RECORD HIGHS

PREDICTED CASES WELL UP AGAIN- ON 88,784 UP from 86,981 yesterday

MOST EVER RECORDED IN UK BY ZOE

UP BY 1803 AFTER rises of 2139, 1887 & 1132 the days before. Maybe flattening off a little hopefully.

It was 74,259 last week. UP 14,525 in week. The weekly rise was 14,455 yesterday. So also flattening perhaps

ONGOING INFECTIONS - ALSO SETTING A NEW RECORD DAILY AS THE HIGHEST NUMBER EVER - ABOVE THOSE RECORDED IN MID JANUARY AT THE HEIGHT OF THE UKs WORST WAVE

1,117,120 UP from 1,100,628 & 1,083,129 past two days a rise of 16, 492 today v 17.499 yesterday so this daily rise has started to slowly fall.

HIGHEST ONGOING CASES ZOE HAD EVER REACHED IN THE UK BEFORE - LAST WINTER PEAK WAS 1, 059,670 ON 11 JANUARY.

OF COURSE DEATHS THEN WERE 1500 A DAY NOT AROUND A TENTH OF THAT - 150 - A DAY AS NOW - THE BIG DIFFERENCE LEADING TO THIS BEING THE VACCINES

Today week to week v 1,000,538 is a wk to wk a RISE of 116,592 AFTER a rise of 112,257 week to week yesterday.

So sadlystill rising here and it is not looking like we will be falling below 1 million cases in this wave any time soon - it fell below that number after the peak in January within a few days.

THIS SEEMS A LESS DEADLY WAVE BUT ONE WITH A VERY FLAT UPWARD (AND PRESUMABLY SAME DOWNWARD) TRAJECTORY THAT COULD STAY HIGH FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS

Ongoing case numbers will always lag daily cases as if you catch Covid you will be a Covid case for a week or two but a new case only once.

ZOE APP REGIONAL NUMBERS

Current TOP NUMBERS:- ANOTHER DAY OF ALL CHANGE AT THE TOP AS SEVERAL REGIONS ARE CLOSE TOGETHER AND NUMBERS EVERYWHERE RISE UPWARDS

SOUTH WEST still second and the worst region now in England. UP again on 1476 / 1776 FROM 1411 / 1707.

NORTH EAST stays third and VERY flat on 1250 / 1857 FROM 1249 / 1857

NORTH WEST stays fourth but sadly inches UP on 1331 / 1688 FROM 1315 / 1670

EAST MIDLANDS rises to fifth spot well UP and closing in on NW - on 1306 / 1703 FROM 1254 / 1645

YORKSHIRE drops to sixth ut UP too and like East MIdlands very near to overtaking NW on 1301 / 1696 FROM 1276 / 1668

WEST MIDLANDS stays seventh and edges UP on 1166 / 1546 FROM 1148 / 1529

The lowest of this England top range group are:

East England UP today on 1189 / 1465 FROM 1154 / 1428

South East UP too on 1147 / 1345 FROM 1122 / 1318

AND

London - still the lowest England region AND FALLS on 977 / 1221 FROM 990 / 1236

THE MIDDLE WATCH ZONE NOW ONLY HAS BOTH REMAINING NATIONS. NOBODY LEFT IN THE LOWER ZONE AGAIN SADLY

SCOTLAND up a bit on 769 / 1099 FROM 727 / 1046

AND THE LOWEST IN UK STILL THOUGH UP INTO THE MIDDLE WATCH ZONE TODAY

NORTHERN IRELAND
UP most today on 441 / 1480 FROM 315 / 1250

What about the many millions of people who already had covid? Many of whom are being prevented from entering restaurants and shops, or being fired from their jobs?
In the UK proven positive tests in the past count towards any covid passports.

ZOE NORTH WEST NUMBERS:-

In the NW they have both Liverpool down in mid 14 K and St Helens UP again on almost 21K

BUT Warrington falls again on 20,280 and now fallen from highest in the Merseyside side of the NW

NEW LEADER isn this part of the region is the Wirral who have shot up over past few days to one of the worst in the NW after successive rises AND today UP on 27,311.

The Fylde coast area has STOPPED rising but is still on some very high numbers - Fylde on 19K & Wyre happily down a lot though still the most in the region on 34,749.

Though the Lake District is going UP again on 25K and Lancaster/Morecambe UP too on 20K

Cheshire East is inching UP again on 20,270 FROM 20,001 v Cheshire West DOWN a little on 24,634 - so East still behind.

Cheshire East close now with Stockport which is still falling (though once again today VERY slowly).

As for GM - Headlne - Stockport falls for 6th straight day but back to just inching down not dropping much BUT the very fast rising neighbour boroughs of Oldham and Rochdale BOTH overtaken it as new leaders in GM. And today so did Manchester which has been increasing very fast on Zoe and is now well up on Stockport most days in the actual reported cases too.

The GM order according to Zoe with to nearest K numbers is:-

Oldham - which was BEST in GM days ago - has gone through a big spurt upward in past week and now claims top spot with biggest rise this week with a leap of 19K in just 6 days & up today 3724 now on 25,245. Rochdale which has gone up 16K in 8 days was up by half that amount today now on 24,055 And - just as in the real case numbers - Manchester has been cvlimbing fast on Zoe. Up big today - over 3000 and just less than Oldham onto 22,465 - most in the city for some time and claiming third place. Stockport falls to fourth mostly because of those big rises ahead of it as it is DOWN again by one of its tiny numbers that dominate the past week when it has been steadily going the right way - this time just 290 down to 20,618. Unable to go below 20K still and giving GM four boroughs in the 20Ks for first time in some weeks as the numbers are spread more widely now not just all focused on Stockport and Trafford as was. Bury is next though like SK down a tad and just under 15K. Trafford inches UP today but just 182 behind Bury in high 14Ks. Wigan next DOWN on low 13K, Tameside UP slightly and just over12K. Bolton edges UP today but on just 11,520. But enough to leave Salford - still falling - and again back to being top of the tree with lowest numbers after dropping 5K over the past week and now on 10,601.Still no GM borough in the lower watch zone sub 10K but it looks as if Salford will be the first any day now.

THESE ZOE NUMBERS ARE PRETTY GOOD MATCHES FOR WHAT WE ARE SEEING IN THE REAL CASE NUMBERS AND WEEKLY/MONTHLY POP SCORES FOR THE TEN BOROUGHS

SCOTLAND DATA

NB: THE DEATHS TODAY ARE 21 BUT 20 OF THESE ARE FROM YESTERDAY HELD OVER BY THE DATA ISSUE

So today it is 1 death v 2 last Sunday & yesterday was 20 deaths V 21 last Saturday.

Or 21 over the two days V 23 last week

OTHER DATA IS JUST TODAY

2528 cases - was 2666 last week

9.9% positivity - was 10.0% last week

899 patients - UP 3 on yesterday - was 829 last week

58 ventilated icu - DOWN 3 on yesterday - was 61 last week

SO THE HOSPITAL PATIENT NUMBERS STILL EDGING UP A BIT EVEN AT WEEKEND WHEN THEY TEND TO FALL
