There are plenty of countries (Wales, Scotland, France for example) that have all had restrictions since July and they’re in exactly the same boat. IF restrictions make any difference, it is only a temporary measure as you can‘t run away from this virus. There is no cure, it effectively has to infect everyone it can before it will turn into a relatively minor irritation, like the flu.

Thanks, they forget not everyone lives in England and they forget, many of us have lived with restrictions constantly and are most likely facing even more as we speak.
 
Denmark proposing further restrictions now, which will impact social gathering and, hopefully, reduce transmission points, but it’s stopping short of putting the country back in lockdown.

Suspect Israel and Denmark are worth watching. Once they realise that their respective health sectors are not going to collapse, they’ll likely roll back the restrictions, and Israel might reach that point sooner.

Not really. None of those countries have had any significant restrictions.
