Day 8 for me and it's been a bit shite tbh. First three days I was really fevery, the rest it's totally fucked with my ears. I've had vertigo and immense amounts of pressure. Hearing muffled. Can't pop them and it's mad uncomfortable. Still testing really positive too. Not enjoyed this really. Think it's developed into some pretty intense ear infections or sumat! Got so painful tonight and I feel dizzy, so I'm waiting for a call from an out of hours GP.

I definitely had dizziness and vertigo the day before I found out I was positive.
Luckily since I’ve had no symptoms and felt fine.

Sounds like delta to me mate, similar symptoms with regards the ears that I had in July - the vertigo bit, and was like tinnitus too, just made me feel queasy and just generally shit. Lasted for about 5/6 days of it for me, I just used to sit in the armchair and didn’t want people to talk to me.

I've been like that for 7 years, go figure.

When it’s a radical shift, a scientific advisory board are only going to go by hard data which takes time. Anecdotes won’t cut it. Can you imagine if they had taken her word for it and she was wrong?
I worked there for a few months in the early 70s, it was known as the Gas Appliance then even though it was owned by Glynwed, my Grandad was Foreman in the fitting shop
1975 when I started there, wet behind the ears, some great lads and lasses looked after me, happy days.

what worked for me was chewing ginger, drinking plenty of ginger tea. and TBH i was taking Ivermectin cos the fever was too bad.

I’m sure that article is not go down well with a couple of regulars on this thread.

I get the point to an extent but then it’s very easy to play the “what if” game when you don’t have people’s lives at stake if you get it wrong, something the government has done a few times already by delaying measures. Thankfully this time, it might work.

It’s also more than a little frustrating that you’ve got the spectator casting doubt when they’ve been one of the biggest contributors of the media skewing the narrative since day one.
