A combination of covid and people away for Christmas, Boxing Day is not quite as popular for football attendance as it was back in the day, I think family-time has become more important in society generally at Christmas.Watching MOTD there were unprecedented amounts of empty seats at some games particularly at West Ham and Brighton. Covid?

I noticed that but I looked at Spurs official attendance: 40,539Could be, yet seemed to be quite full at the Spurs game.
So even there, there was a big hit on the crowd.
I predict Newcastle will be full because the NE has relatively low infection levels. We don't know if these are people being scared off by the thought of getting infected at Xmas or whether they have tested positive, or something else

what worked for me was chewing ginger, drinking plenty of ginger tea. and TBH i was taking Ivermectin cos the fever was too bad.

Its therapeutic effects on respiratory illnesses are well attested, though with much of that information coming from traditional Chinese medicine, I'm not sure how many will be convinced...wish u and everyone on here who's suffering a speedy recovery.

I get the point to an extent but then it’s very easy to play the “what if” game when you don’t have people’s lives at stake if you get it wrong, something the government has done a few times already by delaying measures. Thankfully this time, it might work.
It’s also more than a little frustrating that you’ve got the spectator casting doubt when they’ve been one of the biggest contributors of the media skewing the narrative since day one.
The spectator skewing the narrative? Really. How many read the Spectator compared to listening to the doomoungering BBC Sky and ITV news feeds. Less than 1% I would say.
I think its very much the other way round. The doom sayers predominate the media narrative.
