Morning sheep. perhaps u might also want to check out Dr John Campbell's video on this. But i guess he is also in the wrong.
I would assume so. Ivermectin is a horse dewormer. One that has never been passed by any reputable board or body to treat Covid.

You've panicked and taken something you ought not to have done. Think that makes you the sheep.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, misinformation has been widely spread claiming that ivermectin is beneficial for treating and preventing COVID-19.[20][21]Such claims are not backed by credible scientific evidence.[22][23] Research into its use is ongoing, and multiple major health organizations, including the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the European Medicines Agency, and the World Health Organization have stated that ivermectin is not authorized or approved to treat COVID-19”

The spectator skewing the narrative? Really. How many read the Spectator compared to listening to the doomoungering BBC Sky and ITV news feeds. Less than 1% I would say.

I think its very much the other way round. The doom sayers predominate the media narrative.
It is interesting that most of the broadcasters and press have ignored the story in the Spectator. I dont read the Spectator but I know that Fraser Nelson is certainly a credible journalist and no one has denied his story (confirmed by one of the leading Sage advisers) that the modelling was limited to what the Government said it wanted instead of being open and unbiased. To me that is a bombshell and much more important than the endless Christmas parties.

I see it's time to go for SAGE and Jennie Harries. No way that was predictable!

"Follow the science" was always a laugh, when you are commissioning the reports. SAGE were wrong in the first instance. We changed stance at the last minute as evidence piled up and public opinion swang strongly behind a lockdown.

People are shallow and political. They saw the fear, the opportunity to raise a glass to 'heroes' with some empty gestures. Same people were always likely to turn on their heroes when the mood in the group changed, and it became clear the picture was very complicated. Now they feel betrayed.

Don't follow this lot! Get rid! And follow the politicians doing the briefings - the same ones who led you at every stage.

IOW, your post, and my response belong in politics, and you might wanna consider that to be my general response to recent events.

We're the rabble. The Mob. The mood has changed. That's all. Justified as individuals by a determination not to get caught the same way, we will over react, and find a scapegoat. As we always do.
Come on.
You think its OK trying to convince Javid that the time till hospitalisation can take 17 days rather than 10 and medical evidence from SA suggests it may be a day or so shorter than 10 days (as per the quicker time to symptoms from infection).
Of course they will claim we don't really know - well we do know but SAGE aren't prepared to accept medical evidence from SA which I just find to be bonkers.

A combination of covid and people away for Christmas, Boxing Day is not quite as popular for football attendance as it was back in the day, I think family-time has become more important in society generally at Christmas.
I had to miss my first game of the season yesterday, lad's girlfriend's parents dropped in from York, first time we've met. Mrs RM said "You go to the football if YOU want" in that way that informs you you're not going anywhere.

Why I hate the festive season, that and pubs not being open long on 25 December (only managed 2 pubs).
