think I have seen they are lasting longer than that and could last years??

I know a nurse who had antibodies in June last year and still has high antibodies now after another test , she has never had any symptoms of COVID .

My cousin contracted Covid last March/April and has recently had an antibodies test. The result showed a "strong trace" of antibodies, although I appreciate it could differ with each individual. He will still have the vaccine too, as it's best to be careful.

We still not at the point that a scientist will tell you they defo last more than five months, i had a antibody test some 6-8 weeks ago and they were barely detectable

But then again, nobody has said "Antibodies do not last longer than 5 months" which is what your post reads.

But nobody has said they only last 5 months either, they have only researched 5 months. Think somebody on this thread said they have been test for antibodies that had it in March and still have them.

Not true, they have only tested up to 5 months so far.Besides t cell immunity they know lasts longer.

Sigh, no dr is going to tell you that you defo have antibodies past five months they have tested and that you are safe , if anyone can find a dr who will tell their patient that then i am all ears , after the game

Well, it was definitely an antibodies test and that's what he was told by the medical professional. I've no reason to doubt him.

Pop score up 125 to 7662.

Weekly Pop up 1 to 813.

As the Pop scores show not yet out of the woods but cases seem to be slowly falling and Pop rises not the huge numbers they were. But not small either.



Medway

Cases 220 - up from 214. Total 22, 537.

Pop score up 79 to 8091.

Weekly Pop down 18 to 626.

Has made progress but a little way to go yet. Heading in the right direction though from the huge numbers after Christmas which were Pop scores double this.

Of course they won’t doesn’t mean people don’t. Besides not having antibodies present, also doesn’t mean your body hasn’t retained a memory that produces them again if they are needed.
