N Ireland data:

22 deaths (was 19 last week)

17 in hospital, 5 in care homes

905 cases (was 1145 last week)

At 27.5% positivity

Rolling 7 day total that was over 11,000 just after Christmas falls below 6000 to 5893

832 patients - down 10

57 on ventilators - the same

138 care home outbreaks - down 1

Holland introducing a curfew to stop spread of the new variant. 8. 30 to 4.30 overnight.

Assuming Parliament agrees.
The Netherlands is also considering restricting home visits (down from 2 to 1 a day). Ban on flights from Britain/South Africa/South America, too. Currently, 1:10 cases is of the 'British' variant, but that figure is expected to be 1:5 in February.

1027 England hospital deaths

It was 1012 last Wednesday so that is obviously awful but actually also a bit hopeful.

Though NW is up to its highest number yet at 124. 18 up on last week's share of the 1012 - more than the rise week to week for all England

As it is that rise of 15 is the lowest week to week rise in a while.

We may be nearing the summit.

Got my appointment a week tomorrow at the Festival Hall in Denton, I'm 65 but considerd to be at extreme risk so hopefully they have done all the over 80s that wanted the Vaccine

Make sure they have your mobile number, my mum's surgery were doing the same, but they didn't have hers, luckily she had to phone them for something else, and they realised, and gave her an appointment there and then.

Seems a daft policy to me, especially for older folk as many still use landlines as their main phone number, so haven't given them a mobile number.

A historic moment. The first time that any one of these Vote Leave clowns in government have admitted any kind of mistake whatsoever. Johnson will murder her.
Doesn't count at all. They admitted to not doing something highly attractive to the leave crowd. Any relief someone like you feels is collateral, the real gesture is aimed -> thataway.
